Alice Springs Resort
1/2 Day A Town Like Alice Tour
The Alice is packed with interesting places and sites to see!
'A Town Like Alice' is a comprehensive and informative afternoon tour of the top sights of Alice Springs including the original historic Telegraph Station and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Learn how this facility operates to provide a "Mantle of Safety" to the people of the outback.
Stop at the School of the Air, where sometimes we are able to listen to the children take lessons on air. The Alice Springs School of the Air provides an educational service for about 140 children living on properties or settlements covering over 1 million square kilometers of Central Australia.
Visit the largest reptile display in the Northern Territory at the Alice Springs Reptile Centre where you can see and touch unique Central Australian reptiles such as the Perentie lizard and Thorny Devil. Hand feed the lizards, play with a python, or see the latest attraction - the fantastic Saltwater Crocodile exhibit featuring underwater viewing.
